Significant Practice Changes

It's been a season of changes here at Kathleen Killen Psychotherapy, and I wanted to take a moment to walk you through what's new.

New Client Platform: Practice Better to Jane App

We've officially moved from Practice Better to Jane App for scheduling and billing. Jane offers a cleaner, more intuitive client interface, and I'm confident it will make things easier for all of us going forward. System changes are never entirely seamless, and I want to thank each of you for your patience as we've worked through the transition.

If you haven't yet activated your Jane account, please take a moment to do so. You should have received a welcome email with instructions. If you can't find it, reach out to Katerina at admin@kathleenkillen.com and we'll get you sorted.

For existing clients, the move to Jane means signing a new consent form (don't worry, not the full intake packet, just the consent). New clients joining the practice will complete the full intake forms directly in Jane.

Online Sessions: Zoom to Jane

Online therapy appointments have also moved, from Zoom to Jane's built-in video platform. If you're a coaching client, no change here: your sessions remain on Zoom as usual.

A New Office, A New Town

As many of you know, I've been anticipating a move, and it's here! I'm relocating to Orangeville and opening a new office, where I'll be sharing space with fellow therapist Lindsay Shapiro. Our practices remain entirely separate, but we're excited to share a home base.

Our new address is 32 First Avenue (not to be confused with First Street), on the second floor. There's ample street parking nearby, but I'd recommend building in some extra time on your way to your first appointment at the new space while you get familiar with it. I'll be seeing clients in person at the new location starting after Thanksgiving.

A Note on Availability

Right now, my practice is full. New couples and individuals reaching out to begin work with me are looking at roughly a 4-6 month waitlist. If you're already on my waitlist, you will be seen before this time frame. I'm still very happy to offer consultations to couples and individuals in the meantime, though I'm not able to take on new ongoing clients for the time being.

Stefanie Bruce is also currently at capacity, but will open to seeing new clients in a few weeks, so if you've been waiting to connect with her, that window is coming soon.

Thank you, as always, for your trust and patience as we navigate these changes together.
